The Buhari’s hail from Tirunelveli, Down South, but they started their Business career from Sri Lanka about 100 Years back. There they established the Buhari Hotel in Colombo City and made it Famous for their Biriyani, Roast Chicken & Wattalappam to name a few. For all people of Sri Lanka a visit to Colombo city was incomplete without relishing Buhari’s Famous Biriyani, Chicken etc., it was that famous for the next 100 years in Sri Lanka. Buhari Family came to Chennai in 1951 and established their Buhari’s Restaurant, where they invented Chicken 65 and now it has spread all over the World. Now it is 20 outlets in Chennai only and nowhere else. Blue Lagoon is one of the Property belonging to the Buhari Family & it was established in1987 i.e 31years back.Now it is known as the Most Popular Family Beach Resort in ECR.
